We Are All Made of Glory & Soft, White Light is a collection of poems that stand as an endeavor to embody, to dig through the past with both fingers and teeth. Inside are raw observations and a laying bare of brief spells of compressed time. Moving through the warm colors and ancient quiet of a Zen temple, the smell of oranges in a cold-water ritual in the Gulf of Mexico, seeking forgiveness in the beats and pulses of a sacred chant. A love letter to New Orleans and to psychedelics, too. Here you’ll find an attempt to look at things deliciously, to honor the inherent power inside us all to sink into the here and now. To remember that love is all you need.

ABOUT
AMANDA
I grew up in sunny Florida, then lived & loved for almost two decades in my twin flame, New Orleans (with dreamy side quests in Taos, NM, and Lancaster, PA). I now live in a cabin in the woods in north Georgia, where I try my very best to conjure the dark. I write poetry, short fiction, novellas (both traditional and free verse), and just completed my first screenplay. I love the chaos energy of bouncing back and forth between forms.
